Spyro Opens Up About 16-Year Struggle Before Musical Breakthrough

Afrobeats sensation Spyro has shared the long and challenging journey that led to his eventual success in the music industry.

In an exclusive report by TRUETELLS Nigeria, Spyro revealed that it took 16 years of relentless effort, setbacks, and disappointments before his career truly began to flourish about three years ago.

Reflecting on his journey, the singer said he faced some of his life’s lowest moments, filled with uncertainty and self-doubt. Yet, he credited his unwavering faith for the turnaround in his career, which eventually propelled him from struggle to recognition.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Spyro wrote:
“If someone had told me 3 years ago that I would become this fly, I would have argued it. I have been in the industry hustling for 16 years and I was at my lowest when JESUS changed it all… PLS DON’T GIVE UP.”
