Nigerian gospel singer Judikay has shared the emotional pain of losing her sixth pregnancy, describing the deep struggles she faced during the experience.
TRUETELLS Nigeria reports that the singer, in a heartfelt Instagram video, revealed that the miscarriage occurred in February 2025 when she was already more than three months pregnant.
She recounted that the first signs were mild cramps during her daily routine, which she initially dismissed. However, the cramps were soon accompanied by light bleeding that gradually intensified, signaling a serious problem.
Judikay said she was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed a missed miscarriage and performed a D&C procedure. Returning home, she allowed herself to grieve, acknowledging that the nights were the hardest as the emotional pain often became overwhelming.
The singer, whose real name is Judith Kanayo-Opara, revealed that this loss marked the sixth time she had experienced such heartbreak, making it especially difficult to endure.
“In February 2025, I experienced a pain that almost crushed me. I was pregnant well over three months. One day I started to experience cramps and thought it was nothing serious. Then I noticed spotting, and I knew immediately what it meant. The nights were the worst — I would wake up in pain and cry, asking, ‘Jesus, where are you?’” she shared.
Judikay is married to Anselem Opara, and the couple welcomed their first child, a son, in March 2022 after marrying in November 2020.
The singer’s openness has touched many of her fans, highlighting the often-unspoken emotional toll of pregnancy loss.
