The deceased was in an end of the year party with his friends at Tingles Lodge, Ikot Udoma in Eket, when the incident happened.
He was found dead in a swimming pool with many believing that the young man had drowned.
The family, who claimed that foul play was involved, demanded to see the CCTV footage of activities that night at the hotel.
However, the CCTV footage from about 4:15am to around 5:58am had reportedly mysteriously disappeared.
