Whatsapp seems to be experiencing a downtime as there’s been an increased report of outages in countries across the world.
Downdetector, a website that tracks online outages across the globe, has shown a sharp spike in the number of users reporting WhatsApp’s outage.
Some of the issues users have faced today, October 25, have been sending messages and updating their WhatsApp statuses.
Others have said that they can no longer see blue ticks whenever they send private messages, they also noted that they can no longer connect to WhatsApp’s servers, with the application displaying a continuous “Connecting…” message.
The downtime has been on for over an 45 minutes.
