The presidency has released a video of Buhari singing Bob Marley’s song amidst widespread calls for his impeachment over insecurity in Nigeria.
Truetells Nigeria reports that the presidency has shared a photo-shopped video of President Muhammadu Buhari singing a popular song by the late renowned Reggae star, Bob Marley.
The presidency made a humorous effort to lighten the mood of Nigerians experiencing tough times following the deplorable state of security in the country.
Sharing the video, President Buhari’s Social media aide, Lauretta Onochie advised Nigerians that although the country is going through serious ordeals the President has already started to fix the many problems through his nation-building initiatives.
Onochie, who recalled that late Chinua Achebe had earlier written a book titled “There was a nation”, noted that nothing new comes easy.
Meanwhile,Truetells Nigeria reports that this coming few hours after Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), said President Muhammadu Buhari should be impeached if he cannot solve Nigeria’s insecurity problem.
Speaking on AIT’s ‘Kakaaki’ programme on Monday, Baba-Ahmed said the nation cannot wait two more years for Buhari to address the issues of insecurity.
He said those who have constitutional responsibility must realise that the country is in a dire state, and do something other than just talking and making promises.
