Watch Video Of ISWAP Terrorists Attacking Kuje Correctional Centre

The Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists have taken full responsibility of the attack on the Kuje Medium Custodial Centre.

Truetells Nigeria had reported that terrorists on Tuesday night invaded the Medium Security Custodial Centre and released not less than 600 prisoners including 15 Boko Haram commanders.

Other inmates used the opportunity of the attack to escape from the facility.

The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) said out of 879 inmates who escaped, 443 have been recaptured, while 551 inmates are currently in the facility with 4 inmates dead and 16 injured.

An officer of the NSCDC also lost his life, while at least 8 NCoS officers were wounded.

The terrorist sect in a video released on Wednesday night showed some of its men shooting their way into the facility.

The 38 seconds video released by the terrorist group showed fighters marching in groups while vehicles and buildings were on fire.

An elderly man dressed in native attire also joined the young men who were shouting on top of their voices.
