Watch As Plateau United Fans Beat, Injure Enyimba Players in Jos.

Fans of the Plateau United Football Club have attacked and injured some players of Enyimba, Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.

It was gathered that the incident happened after the visitors (Enyimba players) held home side Plateau United to a goalless draw in Jos, in a match-day 29 fixture on Sunday.

The Abia State Government on Sunday evening posted the still picture of one of the players who was seriously injured during the attack on its official Facebook page.

“Please what type of football league will allow this to happen merely because the visiting team got a draw?”, the post read.

Pictures indicated that defender Danladi Timothy and goalkeeper Sabirou Bassa-Djeri sustained wounds following the attack.
