Victor Osimhen continues to get honors as Italian football’s governing body recognizes his goal-scoring performance that enabled Napoi to win the Scudetto.

Lega Serie A, the organization in charge of overseeing the country’s top professional football leagues, has commended Victor Osimhen for helping Napoli win their first league championship since 1988.
The Nigerian international led all scorers in the Italian top league with 26 goals during the 2022–23 season.
The 24-year-old beat out Rafael Leao of AC Milan and Lautauro Martinez of Inter Milan to win the title of best striker in Serie A.The league’s governing board recognized Osimhen, 24, despite the fact that his Napoli colleague Khvicha Kvaratskhelia won the Most Valuable Player title.
Osimhen is one of the most anticipated summer moves due to interest from elite teams like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich.
