A second-year law student at Kampala International University, Dennis Zziwa, was rushed to the hospital after sustaining injuries while portraying Jesus Christ in the Good Friday Way of the Cross reenactment at Our Lady of Africa Church in Mbuya, Uganda.
The Passion play involved physically demanding scenes, during which Zziwa endured beatings that caused significant injuries. Red Cross personnel at the event provided immediate first aid before he was transferred to Lamone Health Center in Luzira for further treatment and observation.
