Students In Fear As UNIBEN Turns Bloody Over Death of Final Year Student [Video]

Truetells Nigeria reports that a final year student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) resident at Hall 3 Hostel, has been shot dead in his room by unknown gunmen in what appeared like a cult-related killing.

This online news platform understands that the late UNIBEN final year student popularly known as ‘Mayor’ was said to be a student of the Department of Public Administration and was shot at about 9 pm on Monday night, April 3, 2023, causing panic among students.

A picture and a video went viral and showed a smiling young man in what looked like the kegites regalia and a four seconds video showed a completely shattered face which looked like a gunshot at close range in the face region lying on the floor.

The late student popularly known as ‘mayor’ is said to be in the department of Public Administration and was shot at about 9 pm causing panic among students.

Meanwhile, at the time of filing this report, Truetells Nigeria gathered that the remains of the UNIBEN final year student had been moved into an ambulance to be deposited at the morgue in the University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
