Former President Goodluck Jonathan has reportedly escape death in an auto crash in Abuja.
It was gathered that the auto crash which occurred on Wednesday claimed the lives of two of his aides.
Speaking to Leadership, one of Jonathan’s aides, who confirmed the accident, said the former president was fine and okay.
The ECOWAS Special Envoy was on his way from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to his Abuja residence when the accident occurred.
The ex-President and his wife, Patience, have reportedly visited the emergency unit of the National Hospital, Abuja where all victims were evacuated to after the accident.
Truetells Nigeria reports that although Jonathan was not admitted into any of the units in the hospital, some members of his team were critically injured.
As of the time of filing this story, the former president was said to be at home.
