Veteran journalist and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Dele Momodu, has predicted that Bola Ahmed Tinubu will soon begin to see the real intentions of many politicians surrounding him.
Momodu made the remark during an appearance on Sunday Politics on Channels Television, where he discussed recent political developments and shifting alliances ahead of future political contests.
According to him, the President may soon face disappointment when some political allies begin to reveal their true loyalties once their expectations are not met.
TRUETELLS Nigeria reports that Momodu also referenced the recent political move by former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, who is now associated with the ADC despite his long-standing relationship with Tinubu.
Momodu noted that Aregbesola, who once served as Governor of Osun State for eight years and previously held the position of Commissioner for Works in Lagos, was among Tinubu’s closest political allies in the past.
Speaking during the interview, Momodu described himself as someone who often predicts political developments and warned that many politicians currently aligning with the President may only be doing so for personal gain.
He suggested that several political figures presently showing loyalty could change direction once they are unable to secure benefits from the administration.
Momodu added that the situation could become clearer in the coming weeks and months, when, according to him, Tinubu may begin to fully understand the real motives of those around him.
