Three Killed As Range Rover Rams Into Newspaper Stand

Three persons including a school teacher were killed when a Range Rover SUV with Reg. No. Delta EFR 940–TT  rammed into a popular newspaper stand at Iyara roundabout, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State. 

 

According to Nigerian Tribune, the tragic incident occurred on Saturday evening, July 16, when the driver of the ill-fated vehicle tried to negotiate the roundabout at high speed.

 

An eyewitness said the three persons killed were reading newspapers at the stand, adding that one other person was injured in the accident.

 

It was further gathered that the driver sustained serious injuries, but two other occupants, both girls, were unhurt.

 

Meanwhile, the late school teacher has been identified as Mr Mike Oritsetemeyin.
