A wave of transformation and spiritual renewal swept through the Expo Centre in Johannesburg on Friday, May 16, as thousands gathered for the highly anticipated Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) South Africa Revival, themed “Holy Spirit Visitation with Evelyn Joshua.”
Led by Pastor Evelyn Joshua, widow of the late Prophet T.B. Joshua and current leader of SCOAN, the event drew attendees from across South Africa and neighboring countries, all united in anticipation of a divine encounter.
Joined by a team of SCOAN evangelists, Pastor Evelyn delivered powerful messages of hope, healing, and restoration to an eager audience. The atmosphere was charged with faith, as many reported remarkable experiences of physical healing, emotional liberation, and spiritual breakthroughs.
Attendees described the day as one of divine visitation, featuring numerous testimonies of what witnesses called “supernatural manifestations” of God’s power. Individuals who had battled long-standing health conditions shared stories of immediate healing. Others spoke of deliverance from emotional burdens and freedom from generational challenges.
Among the inspiring testimonies was that of Andrew Makodi, who discarded his body brace after receiving healing from osteoarthritis. Rebecca Mathoda, who traveled from Limpopo, expressed her relief from chronic shoulder pain caused by persistent muscle spasms. Mr. and Mrs. Jeyi shared their emotional journey to healing from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which had affected their hopes for a complete family life. Emma Sebatlelo, once reliant on crutches due to severe joint issues, demonstrated her newfound mobility before a cheering crowd, while Kgomotso Mothupi testified to being freed from knee pain caused by osteoarthritis.
Media representatives from various countries were present to document the event, capturing heartfelt testimonies and moments of transformation. Many attendees emphasized the revival’s powerful reminder of faith’s impact, with one testifier stating, “It was the Word that built our faith. And that faith opened the door to a divine visitation.”
The service concluded with vibrant songs of praise led by The SCOAN Choir, leaving many in attendance visibly moved and inspired. For countless participants, the revival was more than just a gathering; it was a life-changing encounter.
Extending Love Beyond the Altar
In a continued demonstration of SCOAN’s commitment to charity, Pastor Evelyn Joshua led the Emmanuel TV Team on a humanitarian outreach to Madibe, a town in Mafikeng, on Monday, May 19. Residents received food items, educational materials for children, essential provisions, and bedding. Pastor Joshua also presented a cash donation of R100,000 to support the community’s welfare, encouraging the residents with words of hope and assuring them of God’s unwavering love.
The outreach included the commissioning of a portable water borehole for community use, celebrated by cheers and a loud ovation. Local cultural performances expressed gratitude for the support, acknowledging Pastor Joshua as a channel through which their community experienced renewed hope.
This revival and charity outreach mark yet another chapter in the ongoing legacy of faith, compassion, and impact that The Synagogue, Church of All Nations continues to uphold across the globe.
