Terrorists Kidnap Father And Three Daughters In Zamfara, Demand N100Million Ransom

Agroup of terrorists has kidnapped a man, Alhaji Sabiu Abdulkadir and his three daughters in their place of residence in Damba quarters.

The quarters are in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, northwest Nigeria.

A resident of the community, who simply identified himself as Aliyu, told SaharaReporters on Monday that Alhaji Sabiu and his daughters identified as Hadiza, Fateema and Aisha were abducted when the terrorists invaded the Damba area last Tuesday.

The resident said the terrorists contacted Alhaji Sabiu’s family on Saturday and demanded a ransom of N100 million to free the captives.

“The family only listen to their voices on the phone. Nobody knows their exact location since the day they were abducted. The money they demanded is much – N100million.

“But I heard the family has been working on how to raise the money and maybe to beg the bandits to reduce the price,” Aliyu told SaharaReporters.

Checks on Sabiu’s Facebook page showed that a user, Abdulmaleek Mkdee also provided information on the kidnapping incident to confirm Aliyu’s claim.

He added that the kidnappers had begun to threaten the lives of their abductees because of the delay in getting the ransom.

Abdulmaleek wrote: “Today marks 5 days since the occurrence of two eventful tragedies that took place in the Damba Quarters of Gusau Zamfara state, which involved the kidnapping of Alhaji Sabiu Abdulkadir Sabiu Abdulkadir together with his 3 daughters (Hadiza, Fateema and Aisha) and After 1 to 2 days of this incident, Came the kidnapping of Dr Muhammad bello janbaqo (One of the Chief Imams of the Damba quarters central mosque).
