The result sheet shows that APC scored 532, AA and SDP had 1 valid vote each while other political parties were not allotted any score.
SaharaReporters learned that those behind the pre-recorded result were offering other parties’ agents bribes to sign the document.
Truetells Nigeria also observed that some people had started engaging in voting-buying in the local government area.
SaharaReporters election observer in the local government area learned that the ruling APC agents were offering voters money – between N10,000 and N20,000 depending on negotiations – to vote for their party’s candidate, Usman Ododo.
SaharaReporters had also reported how some concerned loyalists and members of the Labour Party protested at Ikenegbu Girls Polling Unit in the Owerri municipal council, Imo State as Polling Unit officers already trained on how to make use of the BVAS have been changed.
It was learned that this protest was due to the alleged plan to manipulate the election in favour of the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC).
