The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi and former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi have held a meeting.
This was disclosed on Saturday by Obi who took to his Twitter account to share some pictures from the meeting and reveal what they discussed.
According to the former Anambra State Governor, they discussed issues of national importance including education, social inclusion, economy and others.
He appreciated the former traditional ruler for the wonderful time together.
Obi said; “I met with my dear friend and brother, HRH Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. We spent time exchanging views on matters pertaining to national interest, nation-building and broad concept of diversity, education, social inclusion, the economy, consumption and production patterns.
“Quite a constructive engagement. My sincere gratitude to him for the warm reception and insights. -PO”

Meanwhile, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has refused to publicly disclose the presidential candidate he would vote for in the 2023 elections.
Asked on Friday night during an interview appearance on Channels Television if he would be voting for his friend, Labour Party (LP), candidate, Peter Obi or his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer, Bola Tinubu, Ngige said his choice will be made at the polls but he doesn’t have to publicly reveal who he’ll be voting for.
