The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) is taking significant strides towards enhancing corporate governance through a strengthened partnership with the Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD). This initiative was underscored during a recent courtesy visit by the CIoD Governing Council to the NDIC’s management at its Head Office.

The visit featured notable figures including the Managing Director/Chief Executive of NDIC, Mr. Bello Hassan, and the Executive Director of Corporate Services, Mrs. Emily Osuji. They were joined by members of the CIoD Governing Council, headed by President and Chairman, Alhaji Tijjani M. Borodo.

During the meeting, Mr. Hassan emphasized the importance of collaboration between the NDIC and CIoD in promoting effective corporate governance practices across Nigeria.
