Controversial Darlington Okoye, better known by his stage name Speed Darlington, is a hip-hop artist from Nigeria who claims he should get paid for “being a celebrity.”
This was said by the American rapper while taking part in the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, which actor Nedu and another co-host co-host.
Speed Darlington was criticized recently after some fans accused him of demanding payment of N5,000 before hugging or taking selfies with them.
However, in his podcast interview, Speed Darlington emphasized that he should be compensated for more than just “being a celebrity.”
I really think I should get paid for becoming a star, he declared.
Nedu assured him that he wouldn’t be a famous without the support of his fans.
