Truetells Nigeria reports that the father of two in a post shared on Twitter opined that some people are ignorant of the love they receive from others.
According to the ‘Iyawo mi’ crooner, such kind of people aren’t selfish or anything related to it but they grew up in homes where survival was a priority not love.
Timi Dakolo noted that such people want to survive by every means and the popular saying ‘to love and be loved’ is not top of their list.
He tweeted: “Some people don’t know what to do with all the love you are pouring into them. Not that they are selfish or anything like that, they grew up in a house where survival was priority not LOVE. They just want to survive. To love and be loved is not top on their list. Sad but true. “
Meanwhile, ‘Mama of Africa‘ Yemi Alade has lamented after unknown persons invaded her privacy and stole her money at a hotel in Côte d’Ivoire.
The singer had visited the country for the Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND), a 3-day gathering of creatives from Africa and the Diaspora when the incident occurred.
Narrating the experience, the 33-year-old singer said while she was away from her hotel room, her belongings were ransacked and all the money carted away.
She said: “A few minutes after I left my room, some unknown people decided to go through my things and steal all the money they could find. Very good.”
