Side Chic drugged and stabbed Lagos Billionaire Michael Usifo to death has emerged.
Truetells Nigeria reports that shocking details have emerged with regard to the circumstances that led to the death of Super TV CEO, Michael Usifo Ataga.
It had been reported that Ataga, residing in the high brow Banana Island of Lagos was missing after all efforts by family and friends to reach him proved abortive.
His lifeless body, with multiple stab wounds eventually showed up in a flat at Lekki Phase 1 on the morning of Friday, June 18, 2021.
It was also gathered that several withdrawals had been made from his account, ostensibly, by his killer.
Usifo, who is married to a manager in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was within touching distance of his 50th birthday.
He had met a girl about a fortnight ago and they started seeing each other.
Because of the nature of the relationship, Usifo had rented an Airbnb in Lekki, Lagos, where they would meet clandestinely, away from prying eyes and ears.
Following his disappearance, a combined team of concerned friends, family members, the police and DSS operatives all the way from Abuja through the concerted efforts of the wife, tracked down the owner of the Airbnb, who received payment from the side chic’s bank account into which Ataga had previously made a transfer for the payment to.
After the apartment was broken into, Usifo was found dead with multiple stabs on his neck, chest and thigh.
The robbers withdrew N5 million from his account before killing him.
The working theory surrounding Usifo’s death is that his side chic carried out the murder as security guards at the rentals confirmed that no third party had visited the lovers besides a dispatch rider, who is suspected to have brought the lethal drug to the side-piece.
The side chic, who was last seen on Tuesday when the murder happened, was equally tracked down and apprehended alongside the owner of the Airbnb.
A host of Usifo’s friends have been left flabbergasted as to how the side chic was able orchestrate the murder by herself, considering the fact that Usifo was an amateur boxer who was quite difficult to overpower.
After the side chic left him dead in a pool of his own blood, money began to disappear from his Guaranty Trust Bank account. It was only after an email was sent to the bank using Usifo’s email address, asking for a change in the account details, that the side chic was finally bucked off from making further withdrawals.
As a result, GTBank placed a bar on the account to prevent any further withdrawal.
Investigations to unravel the full circumstances surrounding his death is still ongoing.
