Sex Tape: Why I Agreed To Film Intimacy With Ex-fiancé – Moyo Lawal

Nigerian actress, Moyo Lawal has stated that she has not lost her faith, saying that she only had sex twice in 2022, one of which was leaked leading to her recent sex tape scandal.

The sex tape of the actress Moyo Lawal was leaked online in September 2023, which features her and her ‘supposed’ ex-lover.

She was heavily criticised on X, formerly Twitter, by many tweeps who accused her of leaking the video online to give her more publicity.

However, some people stood by her, saying it is never right to condemn someone without knowing the full story.

In her reaction, on her Instagram page, the Nollywood actress identified the man in the video as her ex-fiancé and threatened to sue whoever was responsible for leaking the video.

However, Moyo Lawal on her Instagram page on Sunday insisted that she did not release the sex tape.

She wrote, “Until a lioness tells her story, every hunter will continue to be a hero. People always take quiet, non problematic people as fools. However, I think it is time for me to start talking.

“One thing .. I can tell you for a fact however is that things are never what they seem to be. I only had xxx twice last year, one of those times is the video. That I agreed to because he started recording after the fact, he doesn’t live in Nigeria, he put in a lot of work winning my trust over the years and I mean a lot. So much so, we were already working towards a house, marriage and all.

“That is why I had to break up with him last year, when I started having communication challenges with him, because I put my entire life on pause with any man I am dating.

“I have not made so many sacrifices by turning down so many dating offers, sleeping alone 90% of my entire adult life, choosing to be alone .. to have an ugly video that happened when I was ill, hanging over my head (meanwhile to the set of unbelievers who actually thought that video was released by me, because of a foolish narrative that started because I didn’t point fingers or start trash talking or blaming anyone and stayed quiet to end it all quickly …. … I honestly don’t know what to tell you).

“P.s They say what doesn’t kill you makea you stronger and changes you. I pray I become carefree and outgoing because doing life the right way has shown my enemy shege.

“Whoever orchestrated this move to drive my enemy insane and end her career. I just said to tell y I haven’t lost my faith, i am still standing, strivin thriving and well taken care of. I have always been lucky with men who take good care of me (and have always been ready to go public) without even askin anything from me that I am not ready to give yet ar YES that includes my body………. Before you deal marriage card.. it is only my lack of knowledge (I re-entered this dating game late the stories I ha eeh), endless chats and lack of tolerance that h stopped me from going the complete journey yet because apart from my sexy image, I already live a introverted boring life (for now 1) like a housewife who has a career and a business.”
