A 47-year-old woman, identified as Grace Moses, has urged the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to acknowledge her 27-year-old son, Emmanuel Sanwo-Olu.
Truetells Nigeria reports that Grace made the request on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the Delta State High Court 2 sitting in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of the State.
Recall that a senior lawyer, John Aikpokpo in suit number: EHC/148/2022, filed on behalf of Emmanuel, said his client had claimed that the current governor while working at a private company operating in Delta State from 1994 to 1995, dated and impregnated his mother, Grace Moses and disappeared.
He claimed that he began to question his mother about his father when someone drew his attention to the fact that the defendant bears Sanwo-Olu.
According to him, he saw similarities between him and the governor and showed videos to his mother who confirmed he was his father.
He also stated via his Facebook page that the governor has filed an objection refusing to undergo a DNA test.
Alleged Babymama, Grace Speaks
According to DAILY POST, Grace during an interview with journalists after the Court adjourned the case, called on Governor Sanwo-Olu to come and collect his child following a series of threats from the boy.
She said: “My message to Sanwo-Olu is that he should come and collect his child. The baby is grown up. He is troubling me. If not for God, I would have been dead by now.
“The baby is now grown and he’s threatening to kill me if I do not show him his father.”
According to her, the pregnancy hindered her education due to pressure from her mother, and was thrown out of their home after Sawo-Olu did not show up to accept the pregnancy.
Grace noted that she drank lime in an attempt to get rid of the pregnancy but the baby refused to be aborted.
The alleged baby mama also revealed that she sold pigs for people and was paid one hundred and fifty Naira which she used as upkeep for herself and the child.
Speaking on her relationship with Sanwo-Olu, Grace said they met in 1995 when she was 19 years old and the Lagos State Governor was working with a construction firm at Ubogo Community in Udu Local Government Area at the time.
Grace Moses said the governor also took her to a hospital in Agbarho Community, Ughelli North Local Government Area where she terminated the first pregnancy and after a few days they had sex which resulted in another pregnancy.
Since then, Sanwo-Olu abandoned her and travelled out of the State on the grounds that he was transferred to work in Maiduguri, Borno State.
