Sacrifice of Praise (SoP 1.0) Returns Worship to the Human Voice This June 13 in Akoka

A new worship tradition is set to light up the city’s vibrant music scene this June, as Sacrifice of Praise (SoP 1.0) prepares for its maiden edition: an a cappella praise concert featuring worship music performed entirely without musical instruments.

Organizers say more than 500 singers and worshippers are expected to gather for the event, which is designed to highlight the beauty, discipline, and power of the human voice in a space of heartfelt worship and thanksgiving—grounded in Hebrews 13:15.

A Cappella Praise Concert Centered on Harmony and Worship
Unlike conventional concerts that rely on instrumental arrangements and sound effects, SoP 1.0 will focus solely on vocal delivery—bringing together vocal harmony, choral excellence, and a collective worship experience meant to draw attendees into a unified moment of praise.

The program is open to worshippers, singers, and music enthusiasts from different churches, campuses, and communities, all coming together with one purpose: to offer praise through song.
