Rotimi Makinde Expresses Gratitude To Guests Who Honour Daughter’s Wedding

 

January 6, 2024 will remain memorable in the heart of Hon. Rotimi Makinde as the second daughter of the family, Lady Romola Zaynab tied the knot with her heartthrob, Adams Gbolahan Adeleke, in a well attended and elaborate ceremony that took place on Saturday, at Highpoint Event Centre and Suits in Agidingbi, Lagos.

Expressing his joy and gratitude to God for the success of the auspicious event, Makinde a one time lawmaker who represented Ife Federal constituency at the House of Representatives extended his appreciation to his friends, colleagues, business associates and well-wishers for thier support and presence at the Lagos high profile party.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to the media, he said:

“First and foremost, I offer my unalloyed gratitude to God Almighty for the success of the auspicious marriage ceremony between my daughter, Romola Zaynab and her husband Adams Gbolahan Adeleke. I sincerely appreciate Almighty God for His grace, strength, sustenance and above all, His faithfulness, may His name be praised forever.

“I equally thank everyone for honouring my invite even at the shortest notice. It really meant a lot to me and my family. Your words of encouragement and support deeply added value. Specifically, I must mention, Hon. Kutigi and Hon Dr Ibrahim Gusau, my school mates and former colleagues, I can’t but single you out to appreciate you both.

“Still in the mood of gratitude, I must equally appreciate Sen Obadara, Sen Babajide Omoworare, Hon. Bimbo Daramola, Hon. Abiodun Balogun, Hon. Barr Adetunji Ajagbe, Hon. Ajibola Famurewa, Hon Yinka Ajayi, Hon Bakare and Hon. Oyetunde Ojo other parliamentarians from the 8th Assembly, Hon. Bosun Oladele, Lagos and from Osun State, only God can reward you all for the show of love and generosity. My dear friend, Alhaji Aremu Jimoh as well as your close ally, Alhaji Ganiyu Ali.

I am proud of you all and I feel so fulfilled and elated to receive you as guests in the beautiful city of Lagos.” Makinde stated.
