Some Nigerians recently accused Popular Real Estate Company Revolution Plus Property of land allocation fraud. The customers dragged them on social media for not allocating lands after full payment since 2019.
However, in a statement on its Instagram page on Wednesday, the company dismissed the allegations, adding that the firm “was built on integrity and trust.”
The company also said it was reviewing the complaints from its customers. It assured that all its customers would be attended to in due course, adding that allocations are usually done in batches.
The owner of the company, Mr Bamidele Onalaja and his wife has also been accused of threatening and calling customers names after they enquire to know when their land can be allocated after the bridge of contract.
The Economic Financial Crimes Commission while busy chasing yahoo boys have left the space for the real estate agents to scam Nigerians using celebrities to convince and influence their fans to pay for land without allocation.
The EFCC should live up to their responsibility by investigating and making sure that justice is served for all the people involved to show example for other who are in similar trade.
Revolution Plus property and their likes use celebrities to convince and influence unsuspecting Nigerians into paying for fully for lands without allocation while using the money to pay for celebrity endorsement.
Some of Revolution Plus celebrity ambassadors are; Broda Shaggi, Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola, Omoni Oboli and many others.
