Presidency Reacts To Claims Of Osinbajo’s Daughter Arrested In UK With Huge Cash

The presidency has clarified the reports alleging that Kiki Osinbajo, daughter of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, was arrested in London.

A social media user on Wednesday claimed that the Vice President’s daughter was caught with huge cash and was arrested in the United Kingdom.

However, in another video, the social media user recanted the report that the Vice President’s daughter was arrested in the UK.

He said, “I want to apologize to Kiki Osinbajo because she never got arrested.

“The story is not true and my source deceived me and took someone else as Kiki.”

Speaking about the incident, an authoritative source in the Presidential Villa confirmed that Kiki Osinbajo flew into Abuja with her father on Tuesday when the vice president was returning from the UN World Tourism Organisation’s Global Tourism Conference in Lagos.

The source said Kiki Osinbajo was in Abuja when a viral report alleged that she was arrested in London.

Truetells Nigeria had earlier reported that the Vice President got people laughing on Tuesday after expressing his singing and dancing skills at the World Tourism Organisation global conference in Iganmu.

The number two citizen, while addressing dignitaries at the conference, sang the popular Nigerian song ‘Buga’ by Kizz Daniel to buttress his point that music is a global language.

The VP’s demonstration got the attendees smiling and laughing as they also joined in chorusing the song at Osinbajo’s request.
