Police Arrest Popular Influencer, BLord For Crypto Fraud, Terrorism Financing

The Nigerian Police Force has confirmed the arrest of a popular social media influencer, Linus Williams, commonly known as BLord.

 

The suspect is famously known as a crypto billionaire who always flaunts his luxurious lifestyle via his social media platforms.

 

His arrest was confirmed by Spokesman of the Nigerian Police Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi via a short press statement he released on Tuesday.

 

The Police wrote: “The FCID (NPF-NCCC) is currently investigating complaints lodged against BLORD GROUP, BLORD REAL ESTATE LTD, BLORD JETPAYE LIMITED, and BILLPOINT TECHNOLOGY. These offences include allegations bothering on cryptocurrency fraud, aiding internet fraud, computer-related fraud, terrorism funding, and non-compliance with regulatory frameworks.

 

“We will do due diligence in our investigations. Our cyber space in Nigeria must be safe and secured by all means. We are committed to achieving that.”

 

Adejobi continued: “We have him with us. The FCID (NPF-NCCC) is currently investigating complaints lodged against Blord Group, Blord Real Estate Ltd, Blord Jetpaye Limited, and Billpoint Technology.
