Photo of the 11-year-old junior student whose throat was slit by an SS2 student of a Borno boarding school, has been shared online. 

 

LIB reported earlier that the Senior Secondary School 2 student of the Elkanemi College of Islamic Theology in Maiduguri, Borno state, has been identified Umar Goni, and it was gathered that he slit the throat of his victim identified as Jibrin Sadi Ramadan with razor during an encounter behind the hostel of the school on Wednesday night January 19.

 

The junior student whose throat was slit for refusing to run an errand, was found lying unconsciously in a pool of blood at the backyard of their hostel.

 

He was rushed to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Ramadan is said to be in a critical situation.
