Peter Obi wins presidential election in Nasarawa state

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, won the presidential election held in Nasarawa state last Saturday, February 25.

 

According to the results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC), collation officer in Nasarawa State, Prof. Ishaya Tanko, Obi scored 191,361 votes to defeat his closest rival, APC’s Bola Tinubu who got 172,922 votes while PDP’s Atiku Abubakar who secured 147, 093 votes.
