In an interview with media personality Tope Olowoniyan, the actress revealed that several people attempted to discourage her husband from marrying her due to their age difference, noting that she is older.
According to her, critics warned that her age might affect their chances of having children, with some even suggesting she could reach menopause without giving birth. Despite the pressure, Stan Nze remained resolute and went ahead with the marriage.
Blessing recounted how a heartfelt Mother’s Day surprise from her husband reminded her of their journey and the strength of their relationship. She also reflected on the early days of their union, when she stood by him through financial struggles and made significant sacrifices.
The actress described her marriage as the best decision she has ever made, expressing gratitude that her husband continues to appreciate her support and commitment.
“Marrying my husband has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I remember people told him not to marry me because I was older, but he didn’t listen,” she said.
“They even said I might reach menopause without giving birth, yet he still chose me. Through it all, he remembers the ways I supported him when he had nothing and the sacrifices I made for him. I will choose my husband today, tomorrow, and forever.”
