Pastor Jacob Oroks Makes History, Bags Iboto Bukong Eniong Abatim Chieftaincy Title

 

The Bukong Eniong Abatim Clan Council of Odukpani Local Government Area in Cross River state has bestowed the chieftaincy award of “Iboto Bukong Eniong Abatim” on Pastor Jacob Oroks, a resident of California, United States of America.

The news of Oroks’ latest feat was contained in a letter jointly addressed to him by the Chairman Planning Committee, His Highness Elder E.F Ikpene, and the secretary, Barrister Nkanor Nkanor Ita.

Oroks, a writer, entrepreneur and philanthropist was recognized and honored as an illustrious Nigerian who has excelled in diverse fields of human endeavors with integrity and impacting the progress and development of his community and humanity in general.

Similarly, his remarkable pedigree and salient traits equally found him worthy, fit, and proper to be conferred with the rare and prestigious traditional chieftaincy tilte.

Aside from his professional accomplishments, Jacob is also an accomplished author. In October 2023,
he published his groundbreaking book “Groundwork of Skill Acquisition and Development,” which explores the principles of skill acquisition and development in various fields. This book has received praise from industry experts and is a valuable resource for individuals seeking to improve their skills.

Jacob remains committed to giving back to his community despite his busy schedule. Pastor Oroks is not only a dedicated servant of God and associate pastor, but he also has an impressive background in information technology and project management. With a master’s degree in IT and project management, Jacob brings knowledge and experience to his roles as CEO of Iboto Empire and Technical Director of HRS Academy USA.

In addition to his work in the information technology IT industry, Jacob is also heavily involved in various community organizations. He serves as the Technical Director of Efik National Association Inc., a nonprofit organization, and is a member of the Fontana Chambers of Commerce.

Jacob is also passionate about education and training. He currently holds a position as the director of operations at Project Management Institute Inland Empire Chapter California, USA, and is an instructor and trainer. Before this, he worked for 16 years as a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst with the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services before transitioning to Senior Staff Analyst, IT Systems Projects, at the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health.
