Panic As Fire Razes Several Shops In Ibadan Community

Fire has destroyed several shops at Ire Akari Estate Area of Soka, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The incident on Monday was said to have started around 3pm, causing commotion and tension within the neighbourhood.

Although the cause of the inferno is not yet ascertained, an X user, @rosheethat, who posted a video, called for help.

She posted, “Ire Akari Soka right now. Anybody that can help us.”

She, however, noted that before the arrival of the firefighters, the shops had been completely razed down.
“They (firefighters) are here now but nothing left again because everything has been burnt.”
