Over Hundred Lagos Street Hawkers, Others Benefits From Amina Ajayi (Mama Diaspora) Loan Scheme.

 

 

Over hundred Lagos street hawkers and other beneficiaries of Amina Temitope Ajayi (Mama Diaspora) Loan Scheme have shown gratitude to her and promised to put the loan to good use as their businesses grow.

 

The loan scheme and wealth creation initiative which is given in absence of interest is part of Chief Amina Temitope Ajayi’s idea to elevate people from poverty and give back to the society, have succeeded taking some street hawkers off the street while giving them a better life.

 

Some young adults in the Lekki Ajah part of Lagos have benefited from the loan scheme and are grateful to Chief Amina Ajayi for the initiative.

 

A 44 year old hawker, Mr. Friday Ogbu who was hawking soft drinks in traffic now has a shop of his own due to the loan he got from the scheme.

 

“I thank madam Ajayi for this wonderful loan scheme, before I used to run around with my drinks on my head. Now I can seat in my shop and people will come to me and buy” He said.

 

Another beneficiary of the loan Mohammed Tijani said that he was at the verge of closing his shop when he got the loan without interest which saved his business.

 

According to Chief Amina Temitope Ajayi, the more people you help the more human capital you build.

 

“The more people you help the more human capital you build.

Let us come together and help our children, we should all invest in intellectual properties for the betterment of our country” she said.
