One of the Queens of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Tobi Phillips, who was recently married, has taken to social media to recount how she won the king’s heart after waiting 8 years before eventually getting to become Queen.
Tobi Phillips in the post shared on her Instagram, disclosed that she consistently wished and desired that the song ”Iyawo Mi” will be sung at her wedding and that came to pass.
She also noted that it has been quite a ride, but God has been faithful.

“It’s been quite a Ride, and we give God All The Glory and Adorations Because All Power Belongs to God Almighty.
“For about 7-8years I consistently wished that @timidakolo would Sing the “Iyawo Mi” Song at my Wedding, and here we are.

Adesua Etomi Reacts To Criticism Trailing Her Music
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress cum singer, Adesua Etomi, has responded to criticism over her delve into the music industry.
Truetells Nigeria reports that the mother of one who has released two singles this year has been consistently tackled to focus on her acting career instead of music.
However, Adesua during an interview with Hip TV said she understands the fact that there are people who find it difficult to open their minds about accepting an individual’s new journey.
Notwithstanding the challenges, the actress noted that she would be patient to win over anyone that needs convincing about her music journey.
She said: “Obviously it’s been half and half. Obviously there are people that appreciate the start of a new journey but I also understand that when people know you doing one thing, it’s kinda hard for them to open their minds to the fact that you’re trying to do something else.
But all these things take time and I am patient enough to win over anybody that needs convincing, and guess what? Not everybody is going to be convinced and that’s okay too. Everybody is not for everybody.”
