A former commissioner of police in Lagos State, AIG Hakeem Odumosu rtd, has debunked the news of his appointment as the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The news of his appointment on the website of the voice of Nigeria last night has been pulled down.
In his reaction early on Wednesday, he made it known that there is no appointment of such.
He wrote: “Good Morning everyone, I have been inundated with so many calls and messages between yesterday and today on a purported “EFCC Appointment”, I just want to use this opportunity to debunk this information and say it’s totally UNTRUE”.
It will be recalled that the EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa was suspended indefinitely about a week ago by President Tinubu.
