Obasa reelected Lagos Assembly speaker for third term

Mudashiru Obasa (Agege I) has been re-elected speaker of 10th Lagos assembly.

The election followed the proclamation of the 10th Assembly by Governor Sanwo-Olu.

Monisola Lasbat (Apapa I), Chief Whip of the Ninth Assembly, was elected Deputy Speaker of the 10th Assembly after her nomination and general acceptance by the House.

This is Obasa’s third term as speaker of Lagos state assembly.
