The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Fatai Buhari has submitted that the National Assembly has not seen any reason to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari yet.
This is as he also called on those calling for Buhari’s impeachment to give valid reasons for their agitations.
According to the Senator, impeaching a president takes a definite process, and if not properly handled, can cause further problems in the country.
Senator Buhari made the submission when he paid a Sallah visit to a former governor of Oyo State, Rashidi Ladoja.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has backed the resolution of the 17 Southern Governors calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to review federal appointments.
Truetells Nigeria reports that the Bauchi State Governor stated this while speaking to newsmen on Thursday.
He stated that there is a need to review federal government appointments to reflect federal character, adding that there is no fairness in the allocation of appointments across the geopolitical zones.
“If you are not fair and equitable in your administration, in your management, if there is nepotism where only one section is given positions in government, then there will be problems,” he said.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, is deliberating if there would be a need to extend the registration period and change the death of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
The registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, disclosed this on Friday at a zoom meeting titled, ‘Briefing session for the committees on 2021 UTME’.
The examination board had fixed the exam between June 5 and 19.
Oloyede, however, stated that the Mock examination would begin on May 20 as stipulated earlier.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday vowed that Nigeria will assist the Republic of Chad to stabilize and return to a democratic government.

The suspected killer of a job seeker, Iniubong Umoren, Uduak Frank Akpan, has been the Akwa Ibom State Police Command to dismiss the remote of his death in custody.
The suspect who was paraded alongside his father said he killed the girl in self-defence and not intentionally.
“I invited her for a job and I asked her whether she can work on a farm as a secretary. I told her that I wanted to sleep with her first. She agreed on a condition that I will use a condom which I also agreed to. She became furious when I started removing the condom, and she attacked me. I was bleeding so I needed to defend myself by hitting her which lead to her death,” he said.
