Ex-Lagos Gov With Walking Stick – Tinubu, Aides Angry With Buhari, Presidency Over Pictures
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and his close aides are allegedly angry with the Presidency for publishing photos of the former Lagos State Governor with a walking stick.
Truetells Nigeria reports that following speculations about Tinubu’s health, President Buhari had paid him a visit in London UK but observers of pictures taken at the meeting spotted the APC leader holding a stick which is used to aid walking.

The Global Youth Development Index released by the Commonwealth Secretariat on Tuesday should have been another wake-up call to the youths of Nigeria to the above fact but it has slipped from being the needed catalyst to jolt our youth from their usual passivism and indifference.
In the latest triennial ranking of youth development in 181 countries, Nigeria tanked to 161, dropping 20 places from the 141 spot she occupied in 2016! This ordinarily should be a matter of interest to the Nigerian youth for whom the ranking puts a face to their misery. Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Yet To Get Access To His Family – IPOB Lawyer
The embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is yet to see his family since his arrest in June.
Truetells Nigeria recalls that pro-Biafra agitator has been in DSS detention June, though he briefly appeared in court before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court on June 29.
Operatives of DSS refused to bring Kanu to court for his trial slated for July 26 citing logistics reason forcing Justice Nyako to adjourn the case till October 21.
How PDP Can Reclaim Presidency In 2023 – Dokpesi
A founder of DAAR Communications, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, says the only way the Peoples Democratic Party can reclaim the presidency in 2023 is to field a Northerner as its presiÂdential candidate.
In an interview with Daily Independent on Thursday, Dokpesi said the PDP cannot win the 2023 presidential election if it presents a Southerner as its candidate.
The PDP chieftain noted that he supported the clamÂour for Igbo presidency, but the South-East cannot win if it gets the presidential ticket at this time.
Banditry: Buhari Is A Weak Leader Who Has Failed Nigerians – Maikatako
A political analyst, Alhaji Usman Maikatako has submitted that banditry has been on the increase in Nigeria because the government is the one sponsoring the bandits.
He argued that until the government at both the state and federal levels withdraw their support for the activities of the bandits, the security forces can only try but won’t be able to win the battle.
Making reference to the submission of former Military head of state, General Sani Abacha, Maikatako reiterated that if a crisis persists in a society for more than 24 hours, the government is involved.

Former Presidential aide, Doyin Okupe has said that he is the most qualified person to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
Speaking on Friday when he featured on ARISE News, Okupe said he has all the attributes of a good president such as being versed in economics and also a good politician.
The politician added that the next President must be a unifier and someone who has socially interacted with people from all sections of Nigeria.

Senate Committee Chairman, Nigeria Army, Senator Ali Ndume (APC-Borno South), has warned against the pampering of repentant Boko Haram Insurgents.
Recall that the Nigerian army on Tuesday said over 100 Boko Haram fighters with their families have surrendered to the troops.
According to the Army, 27 insurgents have been killed, while no fewer than 51 others were arrested in the last two weeks.

Former Presidential aide, Dr. Doyin Okupe, says there is no difference between the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking on Friday when he featured on ARISE News, the politician said the two political parties are one and same, noting most APC members were once members of the PDP.
Okupe added that people who control power in the APC today were all members of the PDP, claiming that most Nigerian politicians are just selfish.
