NECO Releases 2023 SSCE Results (See How To Check Results)

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2023 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for school candidates.

The results were released on Tuesday, 10th October 2023.

According to a breakdown given by the NECO Registrar, Prof. Dantani Wushishi, 61.60% of the candidates scored five credits, including English and Mathematics.

The number of candidates who registered for the exam was 1,205,888, and the number of candidates who sat for the exams was 1,196,985.

616,398 males and 580,587 females sat for the Examination.

The number of candidates with 5 credits and above, including English and Maths was given as 737, 308.

The number of candidates with five credits, irrespective of English and Mathematics, is 1,013,611, representing 84.68 per cent.

How To Check 2023 NECO Results

1. Visit the official NECO online result-checking portal.

2. Purchase NECO TOKEN from the portal or get it from verified vendors

3. On the result-checking portal, select your year of examination and examination type

4. Enter the purchased TOKEN in the correct box on the page

5. Enter your Examination Number

6. Click on the “Check My Result” button and your result is displayed for printing.
