NBA General Secretary Elect Joyce Oduah(FICMC), Visits NBA First Female General Secretary

Nigeria Bar Association(NBA) General secretary elect Mrs Joyce Oduah decided to visit and pay homage to the first female NBA General Secretary, Hairat Ade-Balogun OON, who is also a Life Bencher.

However, Mrs Oduah in her goodwill message said that the purpose of the visit was to appreciate Mrs. Balogun for her support during the election and to seek her counsel and blessing. Mrs. Ade-Balogun was very elated when she received the new elected general secretary, Mrs. Oduah.

Mrs Balogun spent time advising and praying for her for a smooth tenure. At the end of the visit, Mrs. Ade-Balogun presented a historic journal of the NBA dated 1985 to the new general secretary, and also assured Mrs. Oduah of her continuous support.

Clearly, Mrs. Oduah’s visit shows that she is open to working with all stakeholders in making the NBA National Secretariat more responsive and effective.
