Naira Marley and Sam Larry regain their freedom after fulfilling bail condition on Mohbad’s case

The Lagos State Police Command has released singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley and his close associate, Samson Erinfolami Balogun, known as Sam Larry, after meeting their bail conditions.

 

Both men were released on Friday evening November 17. Recall that a Magistrate’s Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos State, on Monday, November 6, 2023, granted the duo bail in the sum of N20m with three responsible duties.

 

Both men were arrested and arraigned before the court over their alleged complicity in the death of Naira Marley’s former signee, Mohbad, who died in controversial circumstances on September 12.

 

On November 6, the court granted them bail. The magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, told the defendants to submit their passports and ordered that they are to report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.
