A man simply identified as Babatunde died inside a bolt cab in Lagos state on Monday, April 24.
According to family sources, Babatunde who resides in the Osapa London in Lekki, had contracted the bolt rider through the app for a ride.
The bolt rider arrived his home at about 2pm, picked him up and was heading to Ikate which was Babatunde’s destination. However, during the ride, the deceased began to shout ‘’My heart” after which his mood changed. In fear, the bolt driver rushed him to two different hospitals where he was confirmed dead.
The driver immediately reported the matter to the nearest police station, and the officers there, contacted the family of the deceased. His corpse has been deposited at the IDH General Hospital mortuary while the police is investigating the circumstances surrounding his sudden death.
