Many people are reportedly stuck under the rubbles of a collapsed three-storey building still under construction.
Truetells Nigeria reports that the collapsed building is located on Akanbi Crescent in the Yaba area of Lagos State.
An eyewitness disclosed that the building under construction collapsed into a building beside it.
So far, a 16-year-old boy and another adult male have been pulled out of the rubble while there is an unconfirmed number still trapped underneath.
A resident of the street told The PUNCH that the building had collapsed partially late 2021 but that did not stop construction workers from carrying on.
According to the resident, her car was affected last year, when a part of the building collapsed, however, construction continued despite the police visiting the location.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency Response Unit has been called to the scene but had yet to arrive as at the time of filing this report.
