LASU Deputy Bursar Slumps, Dies Inside Banking Hall

The Deputy  Bursar of Lagos State University (LASU), Johnson Adesola Ademola, has reportedly slumped and died inside WEMA Bank, banking hall.

Truetells Nigeria gathered that Ademola died on Monday 20 February 2023 while queuing to withdraw N5,000 at new generation within the campus

According to eye witnesses, the deceased.had been on the queue as early as 6 am and suddenly slumped. He was rushed to the school’s hospital where he was confirmed dead

At the filing of this report, his remains have been deposited at the state morgue.

Pregnant Woman Rejected By Hospital Dies At Home

Meanwhile, another pregnant woman was confirmed dead in Kaduna, some couple of days ago on account of scarcity of the new Naira notes in banks.

Truetells Nigeria gathered that the couple who lived in Kasuwan Magani, Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State, could not pay the required hospital deposit because they could not access cash over the bank’s counter.

John Auta and his pregnant was said to have been rejected by the hospital after he could not make the payment due to the scarcity of the Naira notes.

Speaking about his wife’s death Auta told Tribune that, “I ran to my bank to withdraw money but was told no money. I went back looking for POS operators, but I could not find any because, since the issue of new currency began, most POS operator locked up their business centre.”
