Lady drowns after jumping off boat in Lagos

A lady identified as Nimotalahi Ishola Folashade has reportedly drowned after allegedly jumping off a boat on Saturday, March 9.

 

Police sources said Ms. Ishola boarded a boat from Isuti jet in Igando in Lagos state alongside eleven other passengers heading to Totowu in Ogun state.

 

According to the captain of the boat, while in the middle of the river, Folashade removed her life jacket and jumped into the river. Items found in her bag include a bottle of an insecticide, an ALimosho General Hospital card and some drugs.

 

The matter was immediately reported to the police. Efforts are being made to recover her body.
