Kingsley Moghalu Loses ADC Presidential Ticket

Dumebi Kachikwu, founder of Roots Television and younger brother of former Minister of Petroleum Ibe Kachikwu, has won the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

 

 

 

He defeated Kingsley Moghalu, former presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and former Deputy Governor of Central Bank, and Chukwuka Monye to win the ticket.

 

 

 

He polled 977 votes, while Moghalu, his closest challenger, got 589 votes. Monye came third with 339 votes.
