He is currently serving at the Kano Division of the Court of Appeal.

Justice Boloukuoromo Ugo is a native of Kolokuma in Opokua Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. He was born in 1966.
He schooled in his hometown before gaining a LL.B degree from the University of Calabar in 1989. He then proceeded to the Nigerian Law School in Lagos the following year, for his BL certificate.
The graduate of Law started his legal career after being called to the bar in 1990. He was appointed a Judge of the High Court of Bayelsa State on March 21, 2006, and later elevated to the Court of Appeal on March 24, 2014.
Mr Ugo has put in a total of 17 years to his career on the bench, and a total of 33 years to his legal profession started with his call to the bar in 1990.
Though the judge, who is currently presiding at the Kano Division of the Court of Appeal, he keeps his personal life private and out of social media.
He is among the judges presiding over the 2023 presidential election tribunal court and the youngest of them all, he is ranked 44th on the seniority list of the Court of Appeal.
