JAMB has postponed the 2021 UTME and announced a new date for the exams.
Truetells Nigeria reports that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has shifted the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from June 19 to July 3, 2021.
JAMB also announced the extension of registration for the examination by 2 weeks, with the exercise now to end on May 29.
The disclosure was made by Prof Is-haq Oloyede, the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB), at an ongoing press conference in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital on Saturday, May 15.
The JAMB registrar said that the decision was the outcome of a 2-day stakeholders’ meeting the board had in Abuja.
Truetells Nigeria recalls that the 2021 UTME was earlier slated to hold between June 5 and 19.
