Imo Assembly Majority Leader, Uche Ogbuagu Impeached

Uche Ogbuagu has been impeached as the majority leader of Imo state house of assembly.

The popular comedian who represents Ikeduru state constituency was impeached on Thursday March 4, months after he defected to the All Progressives Congress from People’s Democratic Party following the removal of Emeka Ihedioha as Governor of Imo state by the Supreme court.

Ogbuagu was removed by majority vote under tight security, amid a cold war with the house’s deputy speaker, Amarachi Iwuanyanwu.
